While CBD is a potent wellness booster (for reasons we’ll see in a moment), some manufacturers are making pretty far-fetched claims about what CBD can do for male (ahem) health. We’re here to set the record straight and give you a more accurate view of what CBD is, how this potent compound can be beneficial for men’s health, and how gummies can be especially beneficial CBD products for men and women, alike. We’ll also look at some best-selling CBD gummies that are perfect for boosting your wellness.

Let’s begin with a closer look at the primary ingredient in these gummies: CBD.

What Is CBD?

CBD (cannabidiol) is one of a group of chemical compounds formed by the cannabis plant, called cannabinoids. Cannabis generates over 100 such compounds, including CBD, THC, CBN, CBG, and more. Unlike THC, CBD doesn’t get you high. Instead, CBD interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system. This system helps the body to maintain homeostasis (balance), and in doing so, helps to regulate such crucial functions as sleep, mood, memory, appetite, pain, and much more. When you consume CBD, it binds to receptors in this system and helps to bolster its performance.** This, in turn, produces a number of wellness benefits for you!**

The Benefits of CBD Gummies

CBD comes in a variety of products, including CBD edibles (such as CBD gummies and CBD capsules), CBD topical creams and balms, CBD vape oil, CBD tinctures, and more. Since gummies are a type of CBD edible, it can take a little longer for the CBD to get into your bloodstream with a gummy than with a CBD vape or sublingual oil. In fact, CBD gummies can generally take 30 minutes to two hours to kick in, depending on bioavailability factors (such as height, weight, and CBD tolerance). The benefit, though, is that the effects of CBD gummies and other CBD edibles last much longer than other CBD products, potentially six to eight hours (again, depending on personal bioavailability factors).

CBD gummies have other benefits, as well. Gummies contain consistent, pre-measured CBD doses, which removes some of the guesswork you might encounter with a product, like CBD oil tinctures or CBD vapes. CBD gummies are also easily portable and convenient, and gummies taste great. For all of these reasons, many men choose CBD gummies over other CBD products.

Side Effects

Side effects from CBD gummies are rare and generally occur when you take too much CBD. These CBD side effects can include drowsiness, lack of appetite, diarrhea, and dry mouth. CBD also interacts adversely with some medications. So, if you’re taking medication, please consult your doctor before using CBD gummies or other CBD products.

Men’s Multivitamin CBD Gummies

Many men choose to begin their day with a health-boosting multivitamin. Combining CBD with vitamins, minerals, and other healthful ingredients is a no-brainer. And our CBD Multivitamin Gummies for Men deliver. Each serving of these wellness-rich gummies contains 50 mg of natural broad spectrum CBD, plus vitamins A, C, D, E3 and B complex, as well as choline for metabolic health, zinc for immune health, and biotin for healthy hair. These gummies are the perfect daily CBD supplement for men, packed with natural ingredients targeted to boost male health.**

What Is a COA? https://cbdfx.com/how-to-read-a-certificate-of-analysis/ Mon, 28 Apr 2025 00:14:05 +0000 https://cbdfx.com/?p=834680

A Certificate of Analysis, or COA, is an essential part of quality control for CBD products. A Certificate of Analysis is a lab report provided to a manufacturer by an accredited, independent, ISO 17025-certified laboratory, which gives you an in-depth analysis of your product. Since quality varies greatly from brand to brand in the cannabis industry, a COA is essential to verifying the purity and the potency of your product.

Sounds pretty basic, right? But many find it difficult to understand a COA. So, in this article, we’ll provide some pointers on how to decipher all the COA information and, nearly as important, we’ll tell you where to find them on our site!

The Importance of a Certificate of Analysis

Every reputable CBD company has a COA program. At CBDfx, we feel very strongly about providing complete transparency to our customers. We want you to know exactly what’s in every one of our products. And that’s what a Certificate of Analysis provides. A COA is an essential document in chemical distribution that outlines all the tests performed on your product. It does this in two different ways.

First, a COA tells you how much cannabis content is in your product. You’ll see the exact mg of CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids in your product. Without such a report, you wouldn’t know if the product you’re choosing will deliver the potency or quality that you’ve been promised.

A COA also alerts you to any contaminants that might be in your product. Cannabis is a bioaccumulator, meaning that it soaks up any contaminants that might be in the surrounding soil, including pesticides, heavy metals, and other potential toxins. CBD oil can also accumulate solvent residues if the extraction process isn’t up to standard. Your COA will let you know if any of these contaminants have made their way into your product.

cbdfx tincture dropper mct oil

Where to Find Your COA

If you already have one of our products and want to see the Certificate of Analysis, look on the back of the packaging. You should see a QR code: a little box with a matrix of dots inside. Once you scan it with your smartphone, the QR code will take you to a COA for that specific product.

If you’re still researching and shopping, you should know that all of our products’ COAs can be found on our website. In fact, you can scroll to the very bottom of this page. Under “Help,” you’ll find “CBDfx Lab Reports.” Click there to find COAs for all of our products. Or, you can make it easy on yourself and just click here.

Once you’ve located the COA, here’s what you should be looking for:

1. Who Carried Out the Test?

The most important step when reading a COA is to verify who carried out the test. It shouldn’t be a manufacturer or CBD company. Only an accredited laboratory is able to give precise results that you can consider reliable when making your purchasing decision.

You should also find information about the test itself, such as when the test was conducted, who performed it, and even who requested it. A legitimate COA will also have a certificate ID which, in the rare case of disputed results, adds another layer of accountability. If you’re seeing all of this on the COA, then you’re off to a good start.

2. Important Terms

The term “analyte” refers to the type of compound that’s being tested for. You’ll generally find a column populated with mostly three-letter acronyms. These are the cannabinoids that make up your product, with some of the most common ones being CBD (of course), CBG, CBC, and CBN. Depending on the product, you may also find delta-9 THC. This last one can be particularly notable if you’re concerned about taking a drug test.

Along the same line, you’ll note a couple of additional three-letter acronyms: LoD (Limit of Detection), LoQ (Limit of Quantitation) and, sometimes, LoB (Limit of Blank). All you really need to know about these terms is that they quantify the amount of matter that was tested in order to find a true rendering of how much of a given analyte exists in your product.

If you think about each cannabinoid as a speaking voice in a crowded room, you’ll notice that some are louder than everyone else, while others require you to listen a little more carefully to detect them. You’ll usually see them quantified either by a percentage of the total sample or by how many mg per container have been tested.

3. How Much Are We Talking About?

If the COA you’re looking at has checked all the boxes so far—meaning that the report was generated by an accredited independent lab, has a batch ID, with determined limits and a section on contaminants—then you’re working with a company who’s made quality and safety a priority. With those bases covered, we can get into the more entertaining information: the cannabinoids themselves. What are they, and how much of each do we have?

The test results in COAs are displayed in one of the following measurements:

1) Milligrams (mg) in the Full Product

This is generally the easiest measurement to understand, since it tells you exactly how much CBD is contained in a given product. If you want to determine how much CBD is contained in smaller portions of the product, however, you’ll have to do some math yourself or turn to the COA for a potential answer.

2) Milligrams per Gram (G)

When you find a measurement of CBD per gram, you need to know the total weight of a product in grams. The weight doesn’t include the packaging. Most products don’t include weight information on their packaging, so you may need to check if it is written in the COA.

3) Milligrams per Milliliter (mL)

This type of measurement is used only for liquids and is easier to calculate. Take the total amount of a product in milliliters and multiply it by the amount of CBD. Liquid tinctures always indicate full volume on the label, such as 1oz or 30mL.

With this in mind, you can properly determine how much of each cannabinoid is in the product. This is a good way to double-check that the amount of CBD hemp extract advertised on the product’s packaging is an accurate approximation of what you’ll find inside. Since the quantities presented on the packaging are approximations in many cases, you might find some minor number differences, offering either slightly more or slightly less CBD than stated. Still, the difference between the stated amount and the COA’s findings will almost never be substantial.

COA

Insist on a COA for Quality CBD Products

Whether you’re looking for CBD edible products for daily use, such as our CBD Gummies for Sleep, or you’re more interested in our CBD vape or CBD topical products, you’ll find that there’s a CBD product for just about everyone at CBDfx. And with a COA available for every product, you can rest assured that you’re getting the very best every time you shop!

CBD for Stress: How Parents Cope With Stress Using CBD https://cbdfx.com/cbd-for-stress-how-parents-cope-with-stress-using-cbd/ Mon, 21 Apr 2025 17:33:46 +0000 https://cbdfx.com/?p=2725312 Americans are dealing with peak stress season right now, and parents are right there at the top of the Frayed Nerves Club. For many parents, stressors can come from a thousand different directions: from spilled milk and broken toys to maddening school systems and teen ennui. Fortunately, more and more mothers and fathers are discovering natural ways to ease their stress and help them be the best parents they can be. One of those natural stressbusters is CBD. Imbued with natural calming properties, as well as a variety of CBD wellness benefits, CBD is the perfect go-to for stressed-out parents.

In this article, we’ll take a look at several popular CBD stress relief products that you can incorporate into your daily routine. But let’s start by getting a better understanding of how CBD works.

Understanding CBD

CBD (short for cannabidiol) is a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant, called a cannabinoid. It’s one of over a hundred such compounds found in cannabis, as well as other potent compounds called terpenes and flavonoids. Interestingly enough, your body produces its own cannabinoids, which are called endocannabinoids. These are part of your endocannabinoid system, a system of receptors in the various organs and systems of the body that help to maintain homeostasis, or balance. This helps the body to regulate several crucial functions, including sleep, appetite, mood, memory, muscle control, stress, and much more.

When you take CBD and other cannabinoids, they actually interact with those same receptors and help to bolster those systems and organs.** Thanks to this intense wellness boost, CBD has become an increasingly popular wellness product. You may have noticed in the various functions regulated by the endocannabinoid system, that stress and sleep are among them. As it turns out, CBD has a wonderful calming effect that can be beneficial for focus, easing stress, and preparing you for restful sleep.** While CBD’s many other benefits are valuable for any adult, it’s those calming properties that can be especially helpful for stressed-out parents!

CBD Stress Products for Parents

CBD can aid with parental stress in multiple ways, from CBD sleep aids to calming CBD products to topical CBD products to reduce tension.** Here’s a look at some of our most popular CBD stress products for parents (and every adult!).

CBD Sleep Products

Sleep is essential to your overall good health for many reasons, including stress relief. When you’re sufficiently rested, you have more patience for all the little stressors that can come along at any given time (parent-teacher conference, anyone?). You also operate with a healthier frame of mind when you get your full night’s rest. At CBDfx, we carry the best CBD for sleep.

Our CBD Sleep Tincture delivers a 1-2-3-4 punch combo of calming CBD, restful melatonin, relaxing CBN (often referred to as the “ultimate relaxation cannabinoid”), and a proprietary blend of sleep terpenes. Our CBD + CBN Night Capsules deliver an industry-leading 30mg of CBN per serving, along with broad spectrum CBD, magnesium, valerian root, and GABA. And our CBD Sleep Gummies are loaded with sleep-friendly ingredients, including CBD, melatonin, chamomile, lemon balm, passion flower, magnesium, and sleep terpenes. Each of these CBD sleep aids is formulated to help you get to sleep quickly and sleep soundly through the night, with no morning “hangover” to slow you down the following day—which is essential for chasing around your rugrats!

For those who enjoy a little THC bliss with their sleep, we offer two potent delta-9 THC sleep products. Our Sweet Dreams THC Drops feature a heavy-hitting combination of full spectrum CBD, THC, CBN, and sleep terpenes. And our Lemon Dream THC Gummies deliver 5mg of delta-9 THC per serving, plus full spectrum CBD and mellow melatonin. Both of these THC faves are designed to make your Dreamland even dreamier.

CBD vs THC: What’s the Difference? https://cbdfx.com/cbd-101-cbd-vs-thc-whats-the-difference/ Wed, 09 Apr 2025 17:07:08 +0000 https://cbdfx.com/?p=1602634 If you’re on this site, then there’s a very good chance you’ve heard of CBD. After all, it’s what we do. And you’re very likely to have heard of THC, too, even if it’s just a vague association with marijuana. But did you know that these two chemical compounds are related to one another? More than that, both CBD and THC have a number of things in common, including some beneficial effects on the mind and body. But they have their differences, too, which is why we’re going to take a little time today to break down CBD versus THC, and even recommend some products to help you experience each of them for yourselves!

What Is CBD (Cannabidiol)?

A tincture of CBD oil

CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of a group of chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant called cannabinoids. Cannabinoids help to protect the plant from the elements, insect predators, and herbivorous animals, as well as attract pollinators. Your body produces its own cannabinoids, called endocannabinoids, which are part of the endocannabinoid system. The ECS helps various systems and organs throughout the body to maintain homeostasis, or balance. CBD and other plant-based cannabinoids, when consumed, actually mimic the body’s own endocannabinoids, which can help bolster this system. This produces a variety of wellness benefits, and is the primary reason CBD has become such a popular health supplement in recent years.**

What Is THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol)?

THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, is another prominent cannabinoid. In fact, THC and CBD are the two most prominent cannabinoids, which is why we call them the “major cannabinoids.” In some cannabis plants, which are commonly referred to as marijuana, the THC content is extremely high: sometimes as great as 30%. Hemp, on the other hand, has very low concentrations of THC (by law, less than 0.3% as measured by dry weight). All of our best CBD gummies and other top-shelf CBD and THC products, by the way, are made from legal hemp.

CBD versus THC

A picture of a field

While both CBD and THC are compounds found in the cannabis plant, THC and CBD show completely different effects on the central nervous system, not to mention the brain. The main difference is that THC produces a high while CBD does not. CBD is non-psychoactive.

On the other hand, CBD and THC can both be useful for sleep, as both can relax the mind and body.** Both cannabinoids can also be used for pain management, working in particular with the body’s CB2 receptors.** These cannabinoids can also be useful for stress, as both have calming properties that can help settle the nerves.

Here’s a reference table to break it all down:**

Potential Side Effects

Side effects are rare for CBD products, and generally occur when someone takes much more than the recommended dosage. CBD side effects can include dry mouth, decreased appetite, diarrhea, and drowsiness. THC side effects can be much more pronounced than those of CBD, especially if you take more than the recommended serving size. These may include dizziness, altered senses, and impaired memory, among other things. Whichever types of products you choose, make sure to adhere to the recommended serving size when you use any hemp product.

Know Your Oils: Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, and Isolate

CBD oil comes in a variety of strengths, whose main difference from one another is THC content. Full spectrum CBD oil is the oil that is initially extracted from the leaves, stems, and buds of the hemp plant. This rich oil includes all of the 100+ cannabinoids found in hemp, plus all terpenes, flavonoids, and healthy fatty acids. That includes up to 0.3% THC, as mandated by the 2018 US Farm Bill.

The benefit of using such a robust oil is that all of these compounds—cannabinoids and terpenes, especially—boost one another’s effects via a phenomenon known as the Entourage Effect. So, the more of these compounds there are in any given product, the greater its potency.

Still, many people aren’t comfortable with having THC in their CBD products. Broad spectrum CBD is a great alternative for these folks. This is the exact same oil as full spectrum, only the detectable amounts of THC have been filtered out (along with a few other compounds in the process). Still, broad spectrum CBD is a wonderfully rich oil that can generate the Entourage Effect.

For some folks, though, purity is the priority. And so, they have CBD isolate as an option. This form of CBD is 99% pure CBD with all other hemp compounds removed. CBD isolate does not produce the Entourage Effect.

Pick Your Products!

With our delta-9 THC products, we take the THC content right up to the legal limit for maximum effects. Let’s look at a few of our most popular THC items, along with a related CBD option.

Sleep Gummies

Looking for the best CBD for sleep? Our CBD Sleep Gummies with Melatonin deliver 50mg of calming broad spectrum CBD, along with 5mg of melatonin per serving, as well as a bevy of natural botanicals that promote rest and a proprietary blend of sleep terpenes. Lemon Dream THC Gummies contain 25mg of full spectrum CBD in every serving, plus 5mg of THC and 3mg of mellow melatonin. Both of these sleep gummies can help you fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly through the night, with the Lemon Dream gummies offering a dash of dreamy THC to the mix.**

cbdfx sleep tincture oils

Sleep Tinctures

Our CBD Sleep Tincture delivers a 1-2-3-4 combination of broad spectrum CBD, CBN (“the ultimate relaxation cannabinoid”), melatonin, and sleep terpenes. Sweet Dreams THC Drops offer full spectrum CBD, THC, CBN, and sleep terpenes. Both are wonderful natural sleep aids, with the difference being the added THC “bliss” in the Sweet Dreams Drops.**

Berry Gummies

Original Mixed Berry CBD Gummies were the very first CBD gummies in our collection, delivering 50mg of broad spectrum CBD in every berrylicious serving—perfect for any morning wellness regimen. We’ve since added two THC-rich berry gummy options. Our Full Spectrum Mixed Berry CBD Gummies not only use full spectrum oil, but also add a microdose-friendly 3mg of THC in every serving. These are great for taking the edge off of stress, while still allowing you to maintain control. If you’re looking for more THC in your berry chews, though, our Berry Buzz THC Gummies give you the option of 5mg or even 10mg of THC in every serving for the ultimate in “chill” relaxation.**

Final Thoughts

As you’ve seen, CBD is chemically similar to THC but does not have the same psychoactive effects as its cannabinoid cousin. Fortunately, we offer plenty of options for both calming CBD wellness products and blissful THC products. Try a few items from each camp to see what’s best for you!

Buzzed Beverage: Upgrade Your Bevvy With THC Tinctures https://cbdfx.com/buzzed-beverage-upgrade-your-bevvy-with-thc-tinctures/ Mon, 07 Apr 2025 17:08:23 +0000 https://cbdfx.com/?p=2533774 The hottest trend in adult beverages these days is the “buzzed beverage.” These are drinks with the added “buzz” of cannabis compounds: most notably, delta-9 THC. While there exist on the market several prepackaged THC drinks (many of them in dispensaries), many people in the know are making their own concoctions: combining their favorite THC oil tincture with their favorite drink! If you’re interested in playing a little mad scientist, here’s the scoop on buzzed beverages and the best THC tinctures available, so you can make your next drink an elevated experience!

What Is a Buzzed Beverage?

As we noted above, a buzzed beverage is a beverage that’s been spiked with THC. Making your own buzzed bevvy is easy. Just take a drop or two of your favorite THC tincture and splash it in your soda, juice, or other favorite drink. Give it a little swirl and voila! You’ve got yourself a five-star drinky-poo!

Of course, finding the right THC oil is key. Thankfully, you came to the right place for high-quality delta-9 tinctures!

A Great Alternative to Alcohol!

If you’ve ever overdone it with beer, wine, or liquor, you know how rough that morning after can be. THC doesn’t hit you with a hangover. So, you get all the fun of a party bevvy with none of the regret in the morning.

Alcohol can also be a depressant. The effects of THC are often described as euphoric and uplifting. So, you’ll probably have a better time with a “buzzed beverage” than you would pounding beers or shots.

Meet the THC Tinctures!

We have two potent THC tinctures that blend perfectly with a variety of beverages:

Our Ultimate Chill Delta-9 THC Drops help dial back your stress and allow you to enjoy peaceful relaxation.** With the addition of pure delta-9 THC, this all-natural full spectrum CBD tincture oil delivers good vibes in every delicious drop. And the ingredient profile is incredibly clean, made with only organic full spectrum CBD oil, coconut-derived MCT oil (for greater absorption into the bloodstream), and natural blueberry flavoring. Embrace your inner “chill” with these special full spectrum delta-9 oil drops.

Our Sweet Dreams Delta-9 THC Drops represent the finest in natural sleep supplements.** Featuring a restful combination of full spectrum CBD, CBN (the “ultimate relaxation cannabinoid”), delta-9 THC, and a proprietary blend of sleep terpenes, this tincture is formulated to not only help you get to sleep quickly, but also to help you sleep more soundly through the night, with fewer interruptions—and without the morning hangover that comes with many sleeping pills.

Here’s a quick breakdown of our two THC tinctures.

Sweet Dreams Delta-9 THC Drops2.25mg50–100mgCBN (10mg per dropper)Sleep

How Do You Make a Buzzed Bevvy?

The recommended serving size for our THC oil drops is one full dropper of oil. We recommend that those who are new to delta-9 THC try a half serving the first time out to see how it affects them. Then, the next time you want to try a THC oil, you can adjust your serving size accordingly.

What Is Delta-9 THC?

Delta-9 THC is one of two major compounds, called cannabinoids, that are found in the cannabis plant (the other being CBD). Unlike CBD, which is not intoxicating, THC does produce psychotropic effects. In short, it’s the chemical compound in marijuana that gets you high.

The THC used in our tinctures and other delta-9 products is derived from a legal form of cannabis, called hemp. The THC levels in hemp are set, by law, at less than 0.3%. When you extract the cannabinoids from the hemp, though, sometimes the THC levels come out significantly lower than that legal threshold. What we do with our delta-9 THC products is boost the THC content to take it right up to the legal limit. The result is a product that gives you all the “chill” of THC, but in a legal product.

While these are legal products, we encourage you to use them responsibly. Remember that THC can cause psychotropic effects, so do not drive or operate heavy machinery while using our THC tinctures.

How Quickly Does a THC Tincture Kick In?

CBD and THC tinctures are sort of a best-of-both-worlds type of product. THC vape products deliver their effects very quickly, but those effects dissipate fairly quickly, as well (generally, in one or two hours). THC edibles, on the other hand, take a while to kick in, but their effects last a long time. Tincture oils play it right in the middle. They generally hit in just 15 to 30 minutes, depending on personal bioavailability factors, such as height, weight, and THC tolerance.

If you hold the tincture under your tongue for 60 seconds, you’ll likely feel the effects more quickly as they’ll enter the bloodstream through the corpuscles of your mouth. If you simply swallow your oil drops, as you would mixing them in a drink, then you can expect to be on the long end of that time range, since the THC has to pass through your digestive tract before being absorbed.

How Long Do the Effects of THC Drops Last?

Remember how we mentioned that edibles can take a little while to take effect? Depending on the strength of the product and your own personal bioavailability factors, gummies and other edibles can take between 30 minutes and two hours to kick in. The plus side with edibles is that their effects can last six to eight hours, generally speaking. THC drops can last nearly as long: four to six hours for most folks—perfect for a chill sesh at home or a night out with friends!

Healthline Blog March

Praise from Healthline.com

Over 50 million people turn to Healthline every month for health and wellness advice, making it one of the most trusted sources in the field. In the last couple of months, Healthline has published multiple articles on the best CBD gummies of 2025. Here are those articles and awards:

Why CBDfx Original Mixed Berry CBD Gummies?

So, what makes our Original Mixed Berry CBD Gummies an award winner? It starts with the CBD. Like all of our CBD products, our gummies are made with only organically grown hemp from the rich soil of Kentucky. The CBD is extracted from the hemp plant with clean CO2, which doesn’t leave behind any chemical residues, as you can find in products from many other CBD brands.

We combine this pure CBD with only the finest natural ingredients, giving you the highest quality product possible. But don’t take our word for it: Check out the Certificate of Analysis that comes with every one of our products. This report, generated by an independent, third-party laboratory, tells you exactly what’s in (and not in) our gummies. You can verify the purity and potency of our CBD gummies with the click of a button.

That commitment to your safety and satisfaction is why our Original Mixed Berry CBD Gummies are so highly regarded.

The Benefits of CBD Gummies

CBD gummies are a great way to add wellness-boosting CBD to your daily regimen. With gummies, you get uniform dosage in every chew—removing all the guesswork you might get with a CBD oil tincture or CBD vape product. CBD gummies are also mess-free and easily portable, which makes them a great option for on-the-go lifestyles. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, gummies taste amazing. With a CBD gummy, you’ll never wince when you have to take one. In fact, you’ll look forward to getting that fruity blast every time you need a serving!

Final Thoughts

When you shop for CBD gummies, you want to make sure you’re buying a quality CBD product. There are far too many unscrupulous CBD companies on the market these days, selling shoddy and, sometimes, even unsafe products. You should always look for a brand that makes their products with organic hemp and natural ingredients—and backs them with a Certificate of Analysis. Our CBD gummies check all the boxes, which makes it no surprise that our Original Mixed Berry CBD Gummies are so highly regarded (and awarded!) throughout the wellness world.

A Guide to CBD Edibles: Gummies & Other CBD Products https://cbdfx.com/a-guide-to-cbd-edibles-gummies-other-cbd-products/ Wed, 19 Feb 2025 16:57:41 +0000 https://cbdfx.com/?p=2063365 Edibles are perhaps the most popular category of all CBD products. And it’s no surprise, given the breadth of edible products available, from CBD gummies to CBD capsules and more — each with its own unique formulation, serving a variety of needs. Beyond the taste of delicious gummy, edibles also have the benefit of delivering the longest lasting effects of any CBD products.

So, with all of this in mind, let’s take a closer look at CBD edibles, beginning with their number one ingredient, CBD.

What Is CBD?

CBD is a chemical compound created by the cannabis plant. It belongs to a family of over a hundred such compounds, called
cannabinoids, whose number also includes CBN, CBG, CBC, and THC. CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of the two major cannabinoids, meaning that it occurs in the highest concentrations in the hemp plant. The other major cannabinoid is THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol. We’ll delve into THC in a bit more detail later. Suffice it to say, THC is the cannabinoid that people associate with marijuana, as it’s the one that gets you high. CBD, on the other hand, is non-psychoactive and will not get you high.

The Benefits of CBD

Your body produces its own cannabinoids, which are called endocannabinoids. In fact, all vertebrate creatures have an endocannabinoid system, which is a cell-signaling system that sends signals to receptors in various systems and organs throughout the body, helping them to maintain homeostasis, or balance. In doing so, endocannabinoids help to regulate such crucial bodily functions as mood, memory, appetite, sleep, motor control, stress, immune, pain, and more.

When CBD and other cannabinoids are introduced into the body, they mimic the body’s own endocannabinoids and deliver a healthful boost to this system. As a result, this interaction brings a wealth of wellness benefits, and it’s the primary reason CBD has become such a popular health supplement.**

A Note About Hemp

Before we go too much further, let’s have a quick lesson on cannabis. In the eyes of the law, cannabis comes in two forms: high-THC marijuana and low-THC hemp. All of the CBD and THC products on this site come from hemp, which legally has less than 0.3% THC.

Full Spectrum CBD vs Broad Spectrum CBD vs CBD Isolate

Another item of note, before we take a deeper look at the edibles themselves, is the type of CBD being used. Full spectrum CBD is the CBD oil as it is initially extracted from the buds, leaves, and stalks of the hemp plant. This rich hemp oil contains all of the cannabinoids (including CBD and trace amounts of THC), terpenes, and flavonoids of the hemp plant.

Broad spectrum CBD is the exact same hemp oil as full spectrum, only the THC has been filtered out (along with a few other compounds in the process). Broad spectrum CBD is also a robust CBD oil and delivers nearly all the same wellness benefits as full spectrum oil.

CBD isolate refers to CBD with all other hemp compounds removed, leaving only 99% pure CBD.

What Are CBD Edibles

what is cbd capsules@xCBD edibles are exactly what the name says, CBD products that you eat (or drink, technically). That is to say, when you take a CBD edible, the CBD must pass through the digestive tract and the liver before being absorbed into the bloodstream.

CBD edibles come in all shapes and sizes, from CBD gummies to CBD capsules and more.

The Benefits of Edibles

CBD edibles are the CBD product of choice for many people for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, edibles can be incredibly enjoyable to consume. Not everyone is into vaping CBD or drawing up CBD oil in a dropper to hold under their tongue. For many folks, a tasty gummy or convenient CBD capsule is the best way to go.

But CBD-infused edibles and drinks have more to offer than just flavor or convenience. Edibles also have the longest lasting effects of any CBD products. While it can take 30 minutes to two hours for the CBD to work its way into your bloodstream, the effects of that CBD can last from six to eight hours (all of which is dependent on personal bioavailability factors, such as height, body mass, and CBD tolerance).**

CBD Edible Products

As mentioned, CBD edible products come in a variety of forms. Here’s a look at the wide selection of best-selling edibles from CBDfx, a leader in the CBD industry since 2014.

CBD Gummies

CBDfx day and night Gummy bundleWe carry a broad selection of CBD gummies for a variety of customer needs. Our CBD Gummies with Turmeric and Spirulina and our CBD Gummies with Apple Cider Vinegar are great morning supplement options, delivering a healthy dose of CBD along with powerful superfoods for additional nutritional support. Our CBD Multivitamin Gummies come in formulations for men and for women, and they deliver a power pack of vitamins and minerals to start your day. And finally, our CBD Sleep Gummies combine calming CBD with restful melatonin, sleep terpenes, and CBN (“the ultimate relaxation cannabinoid”) for a powerful and effective sleep aid.

Each of these CBD gummies come in delicious fruity flavors, which make them a joy to take!

CBD Capsules

CBDfx Capsule bundleCBD capsules are the perfect CBD products for people who want their CBD on the go. Mess-free and consistently dosed, CBD capsules are the choice of many CBD users with active lifestyles. Our CBD capsule collection features three potent products.

Our CBD + CBG Morning Capsules are perfect for energy and focus to begin the day. Our CBD + CBN Night Capsules deliver deep sleep support with a combination of restful cannabinoids, terpenes, and other dreamy natural ingredients. And our full spectrum CBD Softgels offer the powerful cannabinoid experience you can only find in high-potency full spectrum CBD.

What Are Delta-9 THC Edibles?

cbdfx thc berry buzz lemon dream bundle If you’re looking for a more powerful (but still legal) cannabinoid experience, you should explore our line of Delta-9 THC products. Each of these products is infused with full spectrum CBD, plus additional THC to bring the product much closer to the legal THC limit (less than 0.3%). That means maximum THC relaxation and wellness benefits in every product.

Our THC line features several popular edibles, beginning with three delicious THC gummies. Our Berry Buzz Sativa THC Gummies deliver 5 mg of THC, plus 25 mg of CBD per one-gummy serving. These tasty gummies give a blast of berry flavor, plus the mood enhancing effects of a good sativa. Our Magic Melon Sativa THC Gummies are another edible designed to deliver the uplifting sativa THC experience. These high-potency gummies contain 10 mg of THC, plus 30 mg of full spectrum CBD per one-gummy serving — all in a delicious melon flavor. And our Lemon Dream THC Gummies deliver high-potency sleep support with 5 mg of THC, 25 mg of CBD, and 3 mg of restful melatonin for good measure.

We have other popular THC-infused edibles, as well, besides the popular gummies. Our Microdose THC Capsules allow you to microdose with tranquil and healthful THC, while still maintaining your mental edge throughout the day. Each of these THC capsules contains 2.5 mg of THC and 25 mg of CBD.

While each of these THC edibles falls within the legal THC limits established under the 2018 Farm Bill, you should still remember that THC can cause psychotropic effects. So, do not drive or operate heavy machinery if you’re taking a THC edible.

Final Thoughts

Edible CBD offers benefits that other CBD products don’t have, including long-lasting effects, convenience, and the overall fun factor of edibles. Whether you’re seeking edibles for energy and focus, general wellness, sleep support, or simply edibles you can enjoy for the sake of pure enjoyment, we’ve got a CBD gummy, capsule, or cookie that’s just right for you. We wish you all the best on your CBD journey.

A Guide to Full Spectrum CBD & Full Spectrum Products https://cbdfx.com/a-guide-to-full-spectrum-cbd-full-spectrum-products/ Tue, 18 Feb 2025 23:49:55 +0000 https://cbdfx.com/?p=2095706 Shopping for CBD can be challenging. Beyond the myriad of CBD brands and products, there’s also the matter of the CBD oil itself being used in your gummies or tincture oil. It turns out, not all CBD is created equal. And the type of CBD oil being used in your product can have a huge impact on your overall CBD experience.

Today, we’ll take a deep dive into the most robust of all types of CBD oil: full spectrum CBD. We’ll look not only at what full-spectrum CBD is and how it might impact the experience you have with a particular product, but also we’ll explore CBDfx’s diverse line of full spectrum CBD products so you can find the product that works best for you. But first things first: What exactly is CBD oil?

What Is CBD Oil?

cbdfx tincture dropper mct oilCBD oil, or hemp oil, is the oil that is derived from the stalks, buds, and leaves of the cannabis hemp plant. This is not to be confused with hemp-seed oil, which doesn’t contain CBD or other cannabinoids. CBD oil, though, contains a rich blend of all the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and healthy fatty acids of the cannabis hemp plant.

Full Spectrum CBD

Full-spectrum CBD is the initial extract from the hemp plant with no additional filtration. That means it contains all of the 100-plus cannabinoids of the hemp plant, including CBD, CBG, CBC, and even trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3% by law). This oil is also rich in terpenes (which give the hemp plant its scent and taste) and flavonoids (which give hemp its color). All of these chemical compounds, as well as those healthy fatty acids we mentioned) provide a wealth of health and wellness benefits.

full spectrumBut the effects of these various compounds are more than merely the sum of their individual parts. It turns out that multiple cannabinoids, when taken together, actually bolster one another’s effects through a phenomenon known as the Entourage Effect. So, when you take a product that contains full-spectrum CBD, you not only benefit from all the individual cannabinoids and other compounds, but you also get them to perform at peak power and effectiveness.

Broad Spectrum CBD & CBD Isolate

We mentioned that full-spectrum CBD contains trace amounts of THC and, while it’s not enough THC to get you high, the presence of delta-9 can be a dealbreaker for some people. So, there are forms of CBD with the THC filtered out.

broad spectrum

Broad spectrum CBD is pretty much the same oil as full spectrum, only a filtration process takes place to remove the THC. This filtration also takes out a few of the other compounds in the process. Nevertheless, most of the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids remain in the oil, giving you a CBD oil that is still quite robust and can deliver a solid, albeit slightly diminished Entourage Effect.

CBD isolate is CBD with all other cannabis compounds removed, leaving you with a powder that’s 99% pure CBD. CBD isolate does not deliver the Entourage Effect, as it contains no complementary cannabinoids, but it does offer a flavorless, odorless form of CBD that can be useful for products, like vape oils or bath products, where the product designer can make use of a clean, open palette.

Full-Spectrum CBD Products

Full spectrum CBD products make use of that maximized assortment of cannabis compounds to offer the deepest cannabinoid experience possible. We’ve created a variety of full-spectrum products, so that you too can enjoy the full benefits of the Entourage Effect.

Full-Spectrum CBD Capsules

cbdfx photo lifestyle soft gel capsules aug While we do offer multiple broad-spectrum CBD capsules, we also have a full spectrum capsule that delivers a powerful CBD experience. Our CBD Soft Gel Capsules are available in your choice of 25 or 50mg CBD servings. The only other ingredients are coconut-derived MCT oil for improved absorption, and gelatin to form the capsules. These CBD Softgels are the perfect product for people who want to try full-spectrum oil without other ingredients to cloud the experience, making them ideal for managing stress or simply chilling out at the end of a long day.

Full-Spectrum CBD Oil Tinctures

Similar to our CBD Soft Gel Capsules, our CBD + CBN Calming Tincture delivers a potent full spectrum experience, but with a few restful additions. With strengths ranging from 1000mg to 6000mg CBD, you’ve already got a powerful dose of full-spectrum oil in this CBD oil tincture. But we’ve also added bonus CBN, known as the “ultimate relaxation cannabinoid,” and a proprietary blend of restful terpenes, to give you a wonderful calming product, great for a relaxing “chill sesh” or an effective wind-down before bedtime.

Full Spectrum Delta 9 THC Products

cbdfx photo lifestyle ultimatechill mar While the legal delta-9 THC limit for hemp products in the US is less than 0.3%, often the full-spectrum extract yields significantly less THC than that. Many CBD enthusiasts prefer to have the additional THC, for both relaxation purposes and for the health benefits of THC. For these people, we’ve created a line of full-spectrum CBD products with additional delta-9 THC, taking the THC level right up to the legal limit. Our Full Spectrum CBD + Delta-9 THC line offers a variety of max-THC products to choose from.

CBD + THC Gummies

cbdfx photo product gummies nov We have multiple THC + full-spectrum CBD gummies in different flavors and formulations. Our Magic Melon THC Gummies deliver 30mg CBD and 10mg THC per serving in a delicious blue watermelon flavor. If that’s a bit too strong for your needs, our Berry Buzz THC Gummies give you 25mg CBD and 5mg THC per serving in a tasty berry flavor. Each of these gummies is formulated to give you the mood-enhancing effects of a good cannabis sativa strain. Our Lemon Dream THC Gummies, on the other hand, deliver the restful effects of a good indica, with 25mg CBD and 5mg THC per serving, plus 3mg of snoozy melatonin for good measure. Falling asleep has never tasted so sweet!

CBD + THC Capsules

Our Microdose THC Capsules allow you to microdose, with 2.5mg of time-released delta-9 THC per serving. These “chill pills” are ideal for keeping your nerves settled and having an even keel throughout an otherwise hectic day.

CBD + THC Tincture Oils

We have two powerful CBD + THC tinctures, each with a unique formulation. Our Ultimate Chill THC Drops give you up to 6000mg CBD per bottle, and 2.25mg THC per serving — perfect for kicking back at the end of a long day. Our Sweet Dreams THC Drops offer the same potency of CBD and THC as our Ultimate Chill Drops, but with the addition of restful CBN. Worthy of the name “Sweet Dreams,” this tincture is a powerful sleep aid and a must for every medicine cabinet or night stand.

CBD + THC Vape Products

cbdfx photo lifestyle THC group mar Vaping gives you the quickest-hitting effects of any method of CBD consumption. We have five potent CBD + THC Vape Pens, in formulas for mood-lifting sativa, relaxing indica, or best-of-both-worlds hybrid strains. These pens deliver 500mg CBD and 5mg THC per pen and are a discrete (and delicious) way to enjoy full-spectrum CBD on the go. For those who prefer to vape with a kit, we have THC Vape Juice available in five flavors and formulas, as well, with 2000mg CBD and 75mg THC per bottle.

Whatever full spectrum delta 9 product you choose, you can be assured you’re getting only the finest in organic hemp and all-natural ingredients when you shop with CBDfx.

Shopping for Quality CBD

When you’re shopping for CBD — whether it’s a full-spectrum product or not — it’s important to verify the purity and potency of your product. Make sure the CBD company you choose uses organic hemp for their CBD oils, and make sure that hemp oil was extracted with clean CO2, so there’s no possibility of potentially harmful solvent residues in your product.

You can verify the purity and potency of your CBD product by looking for a third-party lab report, or Certificate of Analysis. This report will tell you how much CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids are in your product, and also alert you to the presence of any harmful chemicals. At CBDfx, we insist on these three criteria for every product we make. Your safety and satisfaction are our primary concerns.

And when it comes to full spectrum hemp products, remember to start with a smaller dosage if this is your first time trying a product made with full spectrum CBD oil. Everyone’s bodies are different, so it’s important to be able to gauge how CBD full spectrum products affect you. We wish you health and happiness on your CBD journey!

A Complete Guide to Vaping CBD https://cbdfx.com/a-complete-guide-to-vaping-cbd/ Thu, 13 Feb 2025 19:46:00 +0000 https://cbdfx.com/?p=1855814 The past few years have seen a huge increase in vaping. Part of this is that people are looking for safer alternatives to smoking tobacco. But folks are also enjoying the variety of vape flavors, the convenience of a discrete vape pen, and the joy of a good puff.

CBD vaping has become incredibly popular, certainly for all the reasons above. But vaping CBD is also very popular because it’s an efficient way to take CBD and enjoy its beneficial effects almost immediately.

How? Well, that’s what we’re going to discuss today. Join us as we take a deep dive into CBD vaping, including how to use vape kits and pens, an exploration of how vaped CBD oil interacts with the body, an extensive look at all of the incredible flavors that are available, and what the heck a VG/PG ratio is.

Vaping CBD: What Is CBD?

cbdfx us vape pen blue raspberry device jan Before we get into the vapes themselves, we should take a moment to talk about just what it is we’re vaping. CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of a group of chemical compounds that come from the cannabis plant, called cannabinoids. The cannabis plant generates cannabinoids on its surface to help protect it against the elements and insect predators, as well as to attract pollinators.

The human body, as well as those of all vertebrates, produces its own cannabinoids, called endocannabinoids. These are part of the body’s endocannabinoid system, a cell-signaling system that works to regulate functions throughout the body’s nervous system, as well as other systems and organs. Endocannabinoids are actually neurotransmitters that attach to receptors that signal to other systems and help them to maintain homeostasis, or balance. This has beneficial effects on such crucial functions as sleep, mood, memory, appetite, pain, stress, motor control, and more.

When plant-based cannabinoids, or phytocannabinoids, are introduced to the body, they act in much the same way, signaling to receptors to keep the body’s systems in balance. Different cannabinoids interact differently. For instance, CBN signals to receptors that help with sleep, making it a useful sleep supplement. THC affects sleep, mood, memory and other functions in such a way that it creates a sort of euphoria. This is commonly referred to as getting high. It’s worth noting that all of the CBD oil and CBD vape products we’ll be talking about today are derived from a low-THC form of cannabis, called hemp. Because of this (and an extra filtration process we’ll discuss shortly), your CBD vaping products will not get you high.

As for CBD, cannabidiol has positive effects on several of the body’s systems and functions, making it a great all-around wellness product. In addition to helping the body maintain balance and wellness in its various systems, CBD can also be a calming product. Often this calming effect is described as CBD’s “chill.” You don’t get high by vaping CBD, but you can enjoy a nice calming focus.

Vaping CBD: What Is Vaping?

Hey, if we’re going to cover the basics, we might as well also talk about what exactly vaping is. Vaping refers to using an electronic device — such as a vape pen, e-cigarette, or some hookahs — to heat up a liquid, so that the user can inhale the resulting vapor. In the case of CBD vaping, that liquid includes CBD oil. It also includes liquids, propylene glycol and vegetable glycol, that give thickness to the vapor and help to deliver the flavor of the oil, and any additional flavors that have been added.

Vaping CBD: What Is the Best CBD Oil for Vaping?

As we dig into the ingredients of a good CBD vape, we should start with the oil. When you’re looking for the best CBD oil for vaping, you want to find oil that is made with organic hemp and extracted from the hemp plant via clean CO2 extraction. This ensures that you’re not vaping harmful chemicals from fertilizers, pesticides, heavy metals, and residual solvents. Impure CBD oil can put any or all of these terrible things into your lungs. So, make sure to look at the third-party lab report (Certificate of Analysis) of any CBD product you plan on purchasing. If the CBD company you’re ordering from doesn’t make this readily available on their website, move on to a more reputable company.

As for types of CBD oil, there are three that vary based on the amount of filtering done to the hemp plant oil.

Full Spectrum CBD Oil vs. Broad Spectrum CBD Oil vs. CBD Isolate

CBD oil is extracted from the buds, leaves and stalks of the cannabis hemp plant. The oil that comes from this initial extraction process is called full spectrum CBD oil. Full spectrum oil contains everything the hemp plant has to give: all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and some healthy fatty oils. As mentioned, hemp has a small, non-intoxicating amount of THC in it (less than 0.3%).

full spectrumFull spectrum CBD oil allows the consumer to enjoy the Entourage Effect. This is the term used to describe the phenomenon that happens when multiple cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids are consumed together. Instead of working individually, in parallel with one another, the various compounds actually boost each other’s effectiveness. The result is a deeper, richer CBD experience.

broad spectrumBecause many people don’t want any THC in their CBD oil, an extra filtration step takes place to remove it from the oil. The resulting oil is called broad spectrum CBD oil. With broad spectrum oil, all detectable levels of THC are removed, though the extraction process also takes with it some (but not all) of the other cannabinoids, terpenes and other compounds. Nevertheless, broad spectrum CBD still has a rich cannabinoid profile and allows the user to enjoy a slightly lesser, but still powerful version of the Entourage Effect.

cbd isolate@xCBD isolate is CBD with all other compounds removed. CBD isolate contains no other cannabinoids, terpenes or other chemical compounds. It is 99% pure CBD. As such, it does not induce the Entourage Effect, though it is still effective for therapeutic products like CBD Bath Bombs.

Which Type of CBD Oil Is Best for Vaping?

We began to answer this question above, when we strongly recommended CBD oil that is made with organic hemp and has been extracted with clean CO2. As for the type of oil, it depends on the effects you’re looking for. We use broad spectrum oil in our CBD vaping products. With detectable amounts of THC removed, you’ll never have to worry about accidentally getting a false-positive result on a drug test. But with broad spectrum CBD oil, you still experience a nice Entourage Effect, with CBD working in concert with CBG, CBN, CBC and other cannabinoids, as well as terpenes and flavonoids. This makes for a rich, enjoyable vaping experience.

That said, if you’re look for some extra bliss in your vape cloud, you should consider our delta-9 THC pens, made with full spectrum CBD with the THC levels taken right up to the legal limit!

Vaping CBD: What Are the Other Ingredients in My CBD Vape?

cbdfx photo render vape pen disposables bundle feb ()We mentioned earlier that a few other liquids were added to vape fluids for body and flavor. Propylene glycol (PG) is a colorless, odorless liquid used in a variety of food and medical applications. It helps to evenly distribute the taste and flavor of the vape juice. Vegetable glycol (VG) is a natural chemical derived from vegetable oil. It’s used to give a certain level of thickness to the vapor, and smoothes out the harshness of the propylene glycol, giving your e-liquid flavors more body.

There is some debate as to the right mixture of propylene glycol (PG) to vegetable glycol (VG) in vapes. We find that a 50/50 ratio of PG to VG gives just the right throat hit, with rich flavor and good vapor body.

The last thing you should see on a CBD vape oil ingredient profile are the flavors. If you see anything else on a product label or third-party lab report, ditch that oil immediately. Additives, like vitamin E acetate or essential oils, can be incredibly harmful and should be avoided at all costs. Look for companies that only use natural flavors, so that you’re not harming your lungs and other organs by vaping.

CBD Vaping: How Do I Vape CBD?

We sell two types of CBD vape products: CBD vape pens and CBD vape kits. Let’s take a look at each of these CBD products, and discuss not only how to use them but also what some of the benefits are to each one.

Using a Disposable CBD Vape Pen

Disposable CBD vape pens are great, because they’re small, discrete and no hassle at all to use. You never have to charge them, or worry about hitting buttons and powering them up. You just take your CBD pen out of the box, put it in your mouth, and inhale. That’s it! And when you’re done, toss it and order a new one. Easy peasy.

Meet Our New & Improved CBD & THC Vape Pens!

Our CBD vape pens come in a variety of flavors to accommodate every vaping taste. For those who love sweet fruitiness in their puff, we have Strawberry Lemonade CBD Vape Pens, Blue Raspberry CBD Vape Pens, and Mango Ice CBD Vape Pens. Enjoy the cool freshness of mint? Try our Cool Mint CBD Vape Pen.

We’ve just upgraded our vape pens in a variety of ways, including boosting the capacity to give you approximately 2500 hits per pen. We’ve also increased the amount of CBD to 1500mg per pen—three times the CBD of our previous pens!

Prefer a more potent puff? Try our new and improved Delta-9 THC Vape Pens! These pens also contain 1500mg of CBD (full spectrum!), plus 10mg of blissful THC. Our delta-9 pens are available in four lip-smacking flavors: Maui Wowie THC Vape Pen, Pineapple Express THC Vape Pen, Watermelon Skit THC Vape Pen, and Purple Punch THC Vape Pen.

Using a CBD Vape Kit

A CBD vape kit is simply a refillable vape kit used to inhale CBD e-liquid. Due to the reusability factor of the vape kit and vape liquid inside, once you find a few flavors you like, you can fill your vape cartridge up and take significantly larger hits than you might with a standard CBD vape pen. This gives you the potential ability to enhance the benefits of CBD by drawing more of it into your body.

Our branded CBD Vape Oil Kit provides you with all the parts and instructions you need to keep your device running smoothly. Within the vape device, there is a 1000mAh lithium rechargeable battery, and each purchase includes a USB charger to ensure that the vaping device is always charged and ready for your vape sessions. A refillable cartridge is positioned towards the top of the vape device that utilizes stainless steel and glass material to deliver the best quality. Within the cartridge is a ceramic coil, allowing you to experience the pure flavor and a hefty amount of vapor.

vape kitThe CBD Vape Kit only weighs 2 oz. and offers an ultra-compact design. Its small size gives the vape kit increased mobility without having to sacrifice power, and it can be used anywhere with uncomplicated single-button operation.

To power on your vape kit, first press the power button five times in quick succession. After this, you’ll see the device power on and the LED light will blink pink/purple five times. Once the device is powered on, you should see the button light up blue any time you press it. To vape, you’ll need to hold this button down through the length of the inhale. As with vape pens, one or two puffs should suffice, though it’s okay to take a couple more puffs if you can’t feel anything.

Selecting Vape Juices for Your CBD Vape Kit

The fun part of using a CBD vape kit (besides the ritual aspect, which many of us enjoy) is trying different CBD vape juices. Because the vape kit is refillable, you can experiment all you want, while still relying on your trusty vaporizing device to get the job done.

Our CBD vape juice flavors include the fruity blast of Blue Raspberry, Wild Watermelon and Strawberry Kiwi, plus nostalgic favorites, Spearmint Gum and Strawberry Milk. Each of these premium vape juices is available in 500–2000mg bottles. We also have delta-9 THC vape liquids that feature classic cannabis flavors, including OG Kush, Pineapple Express, Maui Wowie, Purple Punch, and Wedding Cake. These juices contain 2000mg CBD and 75mg THC.

How Quickly Can I Feel the Effects of Vaping CBD?

cbdfx vapeseries blueraspberry mgAlong with portability, discretion and convenience, the other big benefit of vaping CBD is that it enters your bloodstream very quickly. The rate and amount of absorption is called bioavailability. In terms of bioavailability, vaping CBD is perhaps the most efficient method of consumption. Absorption of the CBD through the lungs, into the bloodstream, can take just a few minutes. And with CBD vapes, you can absorb up to 50% of the active ingredients.

Is It Safe to Vape CBD?

As long as you’re vaping from safe, well-made CBD vape cartridges and e-liquids, then yes, vaping CBD is safe. Make sure your CBD oil is organic and solvent-free, and that the other ingredients are natural, as well. There really shouldn’t be anything in your vape juice or liquid other than organic CBD oil, PG, VG, and natural flavors. It bears repeating: keep an eye out for less scrupulous companies that use potentially dangerous ingredients, including vitamin E acetate or essential oils.

The Last Word on Vaping CBD

CBD for Stress https://cbdfx.com/cbd-for-stress/ Sat, 08 Feb 2025 19:01:09 +0000 https://cbdfx.com/?p=1842484 One of the most searched terms for CBD is “CBD for stress.” Anecdotal evidence is overwhelmingly positive regarding the mental benefits of CBD.** This is due to its calming effects and interaction with the endocannabinoid system.** But before we get into all of that, let’s have a look at what exactly goes into all of those popular CBD products.

What Is CBD?

cbd oil dropper@xCBD, or cannabidiol, is a chemical compound that is derived from the cannabis plant. Cannabis can be broken down into two categories: hemp and marijuana. Hemp is cannabis with less than 0.3% THC (the chemical in marijuana that gets you “high”). Marijuana is cannabis with over 0.3% THC — sometimes as much as 30% THC. While CBD exists as a major cannabinoid in both forms of cannabis, we’re going to focus on hemp-derived CBD, as this is the CBD used in all of our products.

CBD is one of a group of chemical compounds found in the hemp plant, called cannabinoids. There are other cannabinoids, as well, including THC, CBN, CBG, and more. In fact, there are at least 120 different cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. As it so happens, CBD and the rest of these cannabinoids are very similar to chemical compounds found in our own bodies, called endocannabinoids. Endocannabinoids are part of something called the endocannabinoid system, an internal system that interacts with the nervous system and other systems to maintain homeostasis, or balance, in the body for such integral functions as sleep, mood, memory, appetite, pain, stress (yes, stress!), motor control, and other functions. Endocannabinoids are little neurotransmitters that communicate with receptors in the nervous system and tell them to get to work.

How Does CBD Work?

what is cbd human receptor chartAs it turns out, hemp-derived cannabinoids (including CBD) mimic the behavior of our bodies’ endocannabinoids.** Though they don’t bind to CB1 and CB2 receptors, as do the endocannabinoids, these phytocannabinoids (plant-based cannabinoids) do interact with them and bark their own orders at the body regarding these same functions.** Different cannabinoids affect the nervous system in different ways.** For instance, CBN communicates in the same way that sleep-inducing endocannabinoids interact with the receptors.** And so, when you take CBN, your body can feel relaxed, like it’s preparing for sleep.**

CBD is sort of an all-purpose cannabinoid, in this respect.** When cannabidiol signals to the receptors in the nervous system, its effects aren’t limited to just sleep or (minor) pain management.** Instead, CBD seems to positively affect the homeostasis of the body in several of its key functions.** It is for this reason that CBD has become a popular wellness supplement.**

What Is Stress?

Stress is the feeling of being overwhelmed, or being unable to cope with emotional and mental pressure. Our body has within it a “fight or flight” response. Most, if not all, creatures have some form of this. It keeps them safe from danger. But when we can’t manage mental or emotional threats, and when we feel like things are spinning out of our control, then we trigger stress.

We exhibit stress in a lot of different ways. If left unchecked, stress can have damaging effects on your long-term health.

How Can I Deal With Stress?

There are plenty of ways to try to manage stress.Sometimes, it helps to step back and examine just what your stressors are and see if, from a 30,000-foot view, there is something you can change in your life to get rid of them. This can be as simple as rearranging your commute to work to avoid a maddening intersection or as difficult as cutting the cord on a stressful relationship. Many stressors aren’t as simple as this, but it helps to identify what your stressors are and see if you can stop the problem at its source.

No man (or woman) is an island. Yes, it’s a dusty, old saying, but there’s some truth to it, as well. When we have supportive relationships, we can lean a bit on a trusted friend for advice or help to get through a stressful time. This works both ways, as sometimes helping others can make you feel better about yourself, as well, and help to build up your inner strength. In the long run, you can build a stronger you and be better equipped to take on stress the next time around.

There’s something to be said about diet and exercise in the fight against stress. Not only does healthy living lead to better self confidence, which can be a big boost against many stressors, but also, our bodies physically (and mentally) handle stress better when we’re in good physical condition. When we exercise, we get our endorphins popping and feel better and more uplifted. Even a little bit of exercise can help ease stress in our lives. And while we’re on the subject of improved health to fight stress, do yourself a favor and cut back on the smoking and drinking. Alcohol, in particular, is a depressant, and while you may feel a little giddy at times when you drink, over time it can lead to poor health and depression. Sick and depressed is no way to fight stress.

Self-care time is essential to fighting stress. It helps to dial down the emotions if you can step back and have a little downtime. It calms the nerves and allows you to be more centered. Meditation can help, too, as you learn to be more “in the moment” and not stress over all the outside noise.

Sleep can help the body in a number of ways, and fighting stress is certainly among them. The pressures of the day can keep us up at night. This can have deleterious effects on your health. A good night’s sleep puts you in a better position to deal with the stressors in your life.

What Are the Different Types of CBD Oil?

CBD oil comes in three types: full spectrum CBD oil, broad spectrum CBD oil, and CBD isolate. It’s important to know the different types of CBD oils so that you can make a more informed decision, should you choose to try CBD oil for stress, sleep, or general wellness.**

CBD oil is derived from the hemp plant’s buds, leaves and stalks. When we take a full extraction pass — again, using safe, clean CO2 extraction — we pull from the hemp plant all of the cannabinoids (CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, and other compounds, including 0.3% THC), terpenes, and flavonoids the hemp plant has to offer. The resulting CBD oil is called full spectrum CBD oil. When consumed, full spectrum CBD oil gives you all of those hemp goodies together. And then, something fascinating happens. CBD and the various cannabinoids and terpenes not only work in parallel with one another in their effects on the body, but they actually bolster each other and make each other work harder.** This phenomenon is called the Entourage Effect, and it’s the reason many people choose hemp-derived CBD products that contain full spectrum CBD oil.** And it makes sense: if you’re going to try CBD for stress or, really, anything, you want that CBD and all of its cannabinoid friends to be working as hard as possible in delivering wellness benefits to your body.**

Even though the amount of THC in full spectrum hemp oil is so small that it’s non-intoxicating, many people prefer not to have any THC in their system at all. And so, we put the full spectrum CBD oil through an additional extraction process to remove all detectable amounts of THC (and in the process, some of the other cannabinoids). The resulting THC-free CBD oil is called broad spectrum CBD oil. Broad spectrum oil is a very popular type of CBD oil. This oil still retains enough of the “other” cannabinoids to create an Entourage Effect, but it keeps detectable. THC out of your system (which makes it great if you’re worried about getting a false-positive result on a drug test).** A majority of our CBD products contain broad spectrum CBD oil.

The last type of CBD oil is called CBD isolate. CBD isolate is 99% pure CBD, with all other cannabinoids, terpenes and other compounds removed. CBD isolate is commonly used in CBD vape products, as well as CBD products like bath bombs.

If you plan on trying CBD for stress, it’s good to have all of these various CBD oils straight before you start shopping for the CBD product that best suits your needs.**

Delta-9 THC and Adaptogens

There are other cannabinoids, beyond CBD, which can also be useful for stress. Chief among them is delta-9 THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). Yes, this is the cannabis compound commonly known for its intoxicating properties. But in the right formulation, THC can also be great for easing tension.** Among the more popular THC “chill” products are our Delta-9 THC Drops: Ultimate Chill Blend and our Berry Buzz Sativa Delta-9 THC Gummies. You can also try our Microdose THC Capsules, a low-dose THC option to help you stay functional through your day, but also sail past your stressors.**

Adaptogenic mushrooms can also be wonderful for easing stress.** Our CBD Mushroom Gummies for Wellness contain seven potent adaptogenic mushrooms (some pulling double duty as brain-ergizing nootropics!), plus a 50mg dose of CBD. Our Relax Blend CBD Mushroom Tincture delivers CBD, multiple adaptogens, and CBN, the “ultimate relaxation cannabinoid.”
